This Gap Analysis Tool (GAT) is based on the Chemical Center for Process Safety (CCPS) Risk Based Process Safety (RBPS) Framework.

How does it work?

• Download the Zip file, unzip and save locally.

• Follow the “instructions.txt” file for the password to open the excel file.

• Answer the set of questions for each of the 20 Elements within the excel worksheets.

• Review the heat map, which is based upon your responses to the questions and associated scoring.

• The heat map will reveal opportunities for improvement relative to each each element and also any specific aspects for consideration.
