Weekly Newsletter – w/e 24th April 2020

Another week of lock down passes in the UK and the “digital world” is busier than ever with webinars, conferences, meetings etc. This might be the sea change for working from home….?

Let me just quickly share with you some quick highlights as to what’s been buzzing.

Live Events

For the first time ever, I did 2 live events and it was quite nerve racking to make sure the technology worked.

The 2 Live Events were:

Psychological Challenges after COVID-19 and Potential Solutions – Attended by over 75 people (which was over-subscribed), this proved to be a real success. There was call for more and we are planning another one on the 5th May. Details will be posted soon after we have agreement with our 3 World Class Experts (Professors Dominic Cooper, Scott Geller and Tim Marsh).

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) – I did this solo and it was a Live Stream to YouTube. A good turnout (40 people), the focus was on SOPs and my top tips. Had some scary moments when the Live Stream went down… 🙂

On the Schedules page on our website, you can check what’s planned and also in the pipeline.

Website

We have also had an opportunity to really gut the website and make it more streamlined. It really was clunky and still has some more gutting requirements.

So far, we have:

  • Created a navigation panel at the top focusing on areas and topics of interest (i.e., Workplace Safety, Process Safety, Risk Management etc).
  • Created a News page, where we will also post this weekly newsletter content to those who are not registered but using the APP or YouTube Channel.
  • Creating a Networking page for interaction, where we will post Quizzes, Surveys.  Still early days, however, we will keep developing content.

Networking

As I mentioned above, I have created a Networking page to allow us to interact more and share ideas, knowledge etc.

My first attempt was to create a survey titled “Post COVID-19 Challenges, Concerns, Worries etc”.

I know I am imposing you, however, if you can have a go at that survey (just 5 quick question), that would be fab. It’s 100% anonymous and I will share the results in early May.

Access the survey by clicking this link.

Till next week…pls stay safe, stay healthy and my best regards to you and your loved ones
